Nordic Robotic-Assisted Thoracic Surgery (RATS) Academy 2025 – Göteborg

Welcome to the first Nordic Robotic-Assisted Thoracic Surgery (RATS) Academy and pre-workshop scientific dinner taking place in Göteborg, 20-21 November 2025.

The workshop is organized by Intuitive in collaboration with the faculty from Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Rigshospitalet Copenhagen University Hospital, Akershus University Hospital, and Oulu University Hospital. It is envisioned as an annual event rotating among the Nordic countries, with a focus on thoracic surgeons interested in the latest advancements in Robotic-Assisted Thoracic Surgery (RATS).

The first edition will be hosted by the Thoracic Department at Sahlgrenska University Hospital. The program includes expert lectures, practical “tips & tricks” sessions, live-streamed surgeries, and presentations from leading Nordic RATS surgeons.

A pre-workshop scientific dinner will be held on 20 November, with presentations from faculty and invited experts. More information, including registration details, is available here.
