Certification

The Certification Committee is pleased to invite members of the association — as well as other professionals in the field — to submit their application for certification as a Medical Engineer/Bachelor’s Degree, Medical Civil Engineer/Technical Master’s Degree, or according to the new category, Medical Technology Basic Level.

The certification:

- serves as a structured support, a professional tool, and a clear development goal for both individuals and organisations working within medical technology.

- purpose is to ensure long‑term competence for safe and reliable healthcare in an increasingly technology‑intensive, complex, advanced, and rapidly evolving environment where medical devices and systems play a central role.

- highlights the importance of our profession — medical engineers, civil engineers, and other specialists working with medical technology in hospitals, industry, and related sectors.

- provides a recognised quality assurance of the knowledge, skills, and experience that the professional has acquired over time.
